It is a Private Library, owned by the White Fathers. It is open to teachers,researchers and students.
It is mainly devoted to literature and humanities in the Arab world , particularly,in Tunisia.

The library has about 34,000 monographs, half of them in Arabic and the rest in the main European languages. The magazines (of which 150 are from exchanges) are systematically recorded. All files, authors’ details and materials, are computerised. In a file namedSubjects,“Tunisia” is entitled to a file of its own.
